About Moon-Moo
Moon-Moo was the thirtieth king of the Silla Dynasty. By his own wish his remains were laid in the sea near Dae Wang Am, the Great King's Rock, so that his spirit might go on defending the country against Japanese invasion. The Sok Gul Am stone grotto — among the finest surviving works of Silla culture — is said to have been raised to guard the tomb. The 61 movements come from 661 A.D., the year he came to the throne.
